Here’s a couple of projects I did for my introduction to 3d motion class. In my defense, this was the first time I’ve ever used Cinema 4d, and that kid is an 8th term student while I’m a 3rd term, haha. All that aside, here ya go:

I don’t really like either of them, but I think they’re a step in the right direction at least.
I totally passed typography afterall because my “View” packet was totally rad enough to make up for the fact that I broke all the school’s rules that said I shoulda gotten a 0 on my midterm (the other of my two grades for the class).
Huzzah!

I totally didn’t get my posters in to the gallery because my real life prints weren’t good enough to submit (I’m lazy and terrible at mounting, orrrr: I’m lazy so I’m terrible at mounting), and I never had the time/money to make new prints in time to have them go through the official processes.
Booooo!

Overall though.. good efuckinough. I’ll see you motherfucks in typography 4.

Sooo, this is a packet meant to inform or encourage kids thinking about coming to art center for photography. The first page is a cover of an envelope that would hold the rest of the images which are printed on really nice luster photo paper at 4″x6″. Maybe I’ll take a picture of the printed pieces so you can get closer to the full effect (you can’t get the fulllll effect, as the fact that you get to touch them and flip through them and rotate them yourself is a fairly big part of it).
So yeah, this is the cover of the envelope:

And then the cards:

And that’s that.
I hate the curriculum card, and the Art Center history card. But I’m pretty happy with the rest.
they’ve been chosen to go in my school’s student gallery, and I guess they’ll be submitted to try to get in to some magazines like CMYK and Print. So, hey, maybe they’re worth sharing with you afterall..
Note that the real versions of these are really nice and big 24″x36″ prints, and that I’ve added the awkward grey border around each poster because I’m too dumb to figure out the CSS to just give my posts a grey background to have the posters stand out from.. Oh and also, each should be a link that you can just click on in case your monitor is too low res to fit the whole poster on the screen at once.

can yooouuu name all the artists?
Apparently there’s an entire site out there dedicated to awesome lego shit: chhhheck it outtt
And then if you’re wondering what kind of crazy amounts of sets and shit people buy to make this stuff, welllll… you make your design with this digital design program and then you can order exactly the bricks you need here. Not as fun as imagining these people creating these things by hand, but that’s the case with learning how most things are actually made, eh?
You guys have no taste.. tsk tsk
A kid in my 3d motion design class, Will Goodan, made this as his final motion project. I have no idea what term he is or even what major he is, but this is one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen.
This is a student project. Made by one person. Within one term.
I didn’t really get permission to post this, which is totally dick now that I think about it. But hopefully he doesn’t mind.. But if you do see this and it was totally dick of me man, just lemme know and I’ll take it down right quick.
